The League of Cinephiles
The League of Cinephiles (TLOC) is a group of over 30 creators from the film Instagram and YouTube communities who compete in a sports league-like environment! Although we have a multitude of different and fun match types, our two most popular divisions are CINEMAWARS (movie debating) and the Film Trivia Clash. Members are carefully selected, sorted into factions, and eligible for any community events. TLOC can be found on YouTube.
How did it all begin?
TLOC started out all the way back in January of 2021 as a movie podcast between two friends called ‘Helmer’s MovieMania Podcast.’ After the podcast started to garner more beloved guests, loyal followers, and traction for their friendly movie competition videos, the channel officially became The League of Cinephiles where cinema-related competition between some of the best and most popular movie social media creators would be the central focus. As of 2023, we have over 400 subscribers, over 40 members, and continue to pump out high quality, sweat-inducing, good-humored videos.
